Open Studios 2023

Welcome to Drawn to the Valley Open Studios 2023.

From the 26th of August to the 3rd of September come and visit our wonderful artists in their studios throughout the Tamar Valley area.

Whether you are new to the concept of an artist ‘open house’ or a returning guest, we hope you will be inspired by the beautiful artwork and skill of our artists during this event.

Drawn to the Valley is a network of over 150 artists and makers living and working across the beautiful Tamar Valley, spanning Cornwall and Devon. This year 63 members have opted to take part in Open Studios, a marathon nine-day event, so please join us and make us smile.

Open Studios is first and foremost a demonstration of the skill of the artist, in their natural habitat, giving an opportunity for us to share with you the process and intricacies of creating unique art and crafts by hand, rather than by machine, in a world dominated by commercial production. You can see a wide range of skills including watercolour art, oil and acrylics, glass making, print making, silversmithing, textile art, wood carving, weaving and spinning.
