Arts Council Emergency Response Fund
Drawn to the Valley would like to give their grateful thanks to Arts Council England for funding the development of this website as part of Arts Council Emergency Response Fund. With the Covid 19 crisis, exhibitions have had to be cancelled and our artists have struggled to get their work in front of the public or create sales. This funding was much needed to develop our online capabilities to support our 158 members through this difficult period and enable us to have a better online presence in the future.

Brambles Art Retreat
Brambles Art Retreat was established in 2003 by Artists and Teachers Janet Brady and Peter Davies. They host day workshops, residential weekend and five day courses at their home in Lifton, Devon. You can also join their courses at other locations in the UK, Port Navas in Cornwall, and Elgol on the Isle of Skye. Each year they take groups much further afield to exotic locations such as India, Japan, Italy, France, Morocco or Greece.
Guests can work in a range of media, Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Charcoal and Pen and Wash. Classes are all mixed ability, allowing for all levels of artist to inspire, create, and work independently or together. They provide practical tuition, they provide one to one and group demos, in their spacious studio or when out on location plein air.
