At the heart of her practice is the tension between landscape as both escape and anchor. Working across oils, mixed media and collage, her paintings reach beyond the visual, seeking what is left behind once the eye has moved on - a mood, a memory, a sense of belonging. It is through this lens that she searches for a personal, interpretive response to a specific time and place, each painting capturing the weight of an open sky, the pull of light or the quiet shift of a season.

These elements take precedence over detail, and it is in this space — between observation and feeling — that her work finds its voice.

An elected Academician of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Art and Associate Member of the Penwith Society of Arts, [Cornwall], her work is held in private collections internationally and represented by a select number of UK galleries. She exhibits regularly in both mixed and solo shows and teaches a range of workshops and classes.
