I am interested in the hotch potch of winding streets and different architectural styles of old towns and cities as well as the spaces of woodland and landscapes. I like painting people and animals as well - various characters - whether real or made up. Both towns and woodlands have spatial compositions which I like to explore. I like to paint mysterious woodland glades and paths or landscapes which are more distant views as though you pause and turn to see suddenly a scene of magical stillness.
