Kathy Lovell

Kathy Lovell, aka LovellBall Jewellery, lives near Cotehele, and uses the mediums of silver and copper. Her individually hand-made jewellery is forged, soldered or woven into shapes that represent the flora, fauna, skies and waters of the coast and countryside: “Most of my work follows nature through the seasons, putting my own interpretation on the shape and forms of what I observe,” she says. “Although the night sky also features in my work, flora and fauna have been my key subjects. I want to encourage real examination of the detail of plant and animal life in the Tamar Valley in order to preserve it and for others to enjoy the wonder of it.”
