I started painting a long time ago, as a way of relaxing during a busy working life. Initially self taught I have been inspired by many artists, learning from them and incorporating little bits into my own style. I’m still learning and experimenting with different media. My work is mainly landscapes and seascapes, with some maritime and wildlife. I get bored painting in the same way all the time, so there are differences between my works. I have also started to produce some three dimensional works in copper, clay and le beau touche.
I am happy to welcome visitors at studio, by appointment. I undertake commissions and run workshops in most media for local art groups.
