Born and raised in the Tamar Valley, home was Morwellham Quay.
Started linoprinting about 8 years ago, following an illness which left me house bound for a while. I was looking for a new challenge and a distraction from my situation. When I stumbled upon printmaking. I think it’s the whole process, I fell in love with, the drawing, the carving and the inking.
I find myself re visiting the mining heritage of my childhood upbringing, the beauty of our moors and coast, as well as precious memories of days well spent, that I probably won’t ever visit again, as inspiration.
