Time spent in India, my love of hand embroidery, the garden allotment and the natural environment are the source of inspiration for my work. I am influenced by the textile traditions of both Japan and India but often with a contemporary twist. Colour texture and a passion for stitch are at the heart of my work. Primarily I run workshops and like nothing more than sharing ideas and techniques with others.
