I was born in and have lived most of my life in and around Tavistock. I studied English and Fine Art at London university- specialising in sculpture. Now I enjoy illustrating books and have had three published:- ‘Jj’s journey into the wise wood’ -with Judith Hasell, ‘My Body Remembers’-with Anne Bateman and my own children’s book 'Little Fatty’ published by Olympia in June 2022.
I also enjoy painting in oils and water colours or mixed media - a range of subjects including portraits of both animals and humans, landscapes , seascapes and other things in nature that might catch my eye.
Generally my work is taken from nature but I sometimes like to add a twist of imagination.
