Geoff Dodd

I am a self-taught artist based on the Devon/Cornwall border, specialising in seascapes and landscapes. Inspired by the rugged south west coastline and the wild moorland countryside, I am passionate about nature and the elements. I have learnt to respect the sea, but am excited by its raw power and energy. It always lifts the spirit and provides another subject and challenge with ever changing colours and character.

Equally, the land with changing seasons and dramatic skies sets my imagination and inspiration running to interpret the beauty of nature. I do paint from further afield, based on beautiful scenes I have experienced and sometimes based on influences that have touched me and moved me to interpret them in my own way.

I started painting in watercolours which I still enjoy, but now work mainly in acrylic and occasionally in mixed media.

I am currently selling signed and authenticated Limited Edition Giclee prints. Prices vary according to size and finish, (printed on quality artist paper or on canvas), and framed according to choice, if desired. Prices and further detail can be given on application.
