Alan Dax

The essence of Alan’s work attempts to convey a spirit of place, from atmospheric scenery to reflective interiors. New ideas evolve from thought provoking environments creating the inspiration for his oil paintings. Alan was educated at university in Plymouth and Goldsmith’s College London, fostering a lifelong interest in the Arts and Humanities. As an Art teacher for many years, he continued to develop his painting and drawing skills. He now regularly exhibits and holds an annual open studio.
This year's events include The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
