My enthusiasm for painting stems from a love of being in wild spaces. The scenes I paint are often close to my heart: somewhere I’ve spent considerable time and in some way treasure. Painting for me is a form of gratitude — a way to express appreciation for the beautiful landscapes I’ve been lucky enough to spend my time walking and exploring.

I took up landscape painting in 2021, but have always sought out ways to express myself creatively, whether through playing music or writing poetry.
