Ceramic-wise Rosie is best known in the Tamar Valley for her large murals. These include: The Albaston ‘Welcome Tree’, the Tavistock ‘Charter Tree’, the Gunnislake Station ‘Fruitful’, the Saltash ‘Fisherfolk’, the Calstock ‘Tamar Valley Line Centenary Mural’, Plymouth Mountwise Towers ‘River Birds’, the Gunnislake ‘Wheal Talk’, and ‘Kelliwik Notes’ on the outside of Callington Town Hall. She is soon to start work on a mural at Derriford Hospital which will be called ‘Wishing Well’.
Her work is unique and wide-ranging, and also includes the following: domestic ware, pictures, architectural items, portraiture, medals, special awards and commemorative ware, house plaques, gravestones, signs, ceramic furniture, sculptural containers, bespoke ware, book illustration.
Rosie is an experienced leader of workshops and community-based projects. Her strong sense of place is reflected in both her clay and also her music work. She was honoured to be made a Cornish Bard in 2019 for her work in the community arts.
