Tony Parr

I originally trained and worked as a technical illustrator - drawing and painting industrial equipment for sales brochures, catalogues, training manuals and other trade publications. Following the advent of desktop computing, I transferred my skills to the digital realm and subsequently branched out into multimedia design and e-learning. After being involved in several other projects following my retirement, I eventually had time and opportunity to rekindle my interest in painting. My subject matter is a bit random but in general it is based on photographs taken on my travels, hence the reason several of my paintings are scenes from warmer climes!
