WildMoor Spinner and Weaver

I am a textile artist, spinner, dyer, knitter and handweaver. My home studio in Princetown overlooks the wild moor and the endless horizon across the river to the open sea. I weave the moods and landscapes of ancient Dartmoor with all its glorious colours, textures and mystical atmosphere.

Celebrating local, British and rarebreed wools, beautiful sustainable natural fibres and British lambswool sourced from small traditional wool mills. Artisan methods to make contemporary pieces of wearable art, individual accessories and home textiles. Slow textiles, handmade to last with spinning wheel and weaving looms. Zero waste.

Handspun and dyed skeins of yarn, handwoven wall hangings, cushions, throws, shawls, scarves, pouches and bags.

Seen in Tatler magazine interior design pages in September, October and November 2019.

Selected for The Crafts Council Directory

Born in China, I grew up in Hong Kong and then Cornwall when my family settled back near Liskeard, travelled extensively and spent most of my working life in Zambia. I owned a Gallery in Ndola for many years where my love of making textiles grew. Influenced by incredible teachers and the many courses I've attended in the UK and abroad.
