I recently returned to painting after a 30-year gap, which was spent raising my three (now grown-up) children and building my own reflexology business and school. I originally studied fine art and painting in 1989 at the Sir John Cass School of Art in Whitechapel. Painting is my form of personal expression, and my works evolve within the creative process itself often to reveal a personal spiritual commentary on my own experiences. I have always been drawn to working with the human figure in painting and recently I have been merging figures within a primordial landscape setting which I want to explore further. I recently moved to live in West Devon in the beautiful Tamar Valley. I love my new home and am inspired and feel nurtured by the magnificent landscape that surrounds me. There is so much more I wish to learn and experiment within painting, and finally I have a studio space to do this in.
