At present I am working as a Design and Technology Teacher at a Special Needs School in Newton Abbot. But my first love is to get out onto Dartmoor as much as I can, armed with a sketch book and some pencils. I love the huge panoramas that the moor has to offer, but I am often drawn to the little worlds that make up the diversity of the place, like an island in one of the streams, a fallen tree or an old building that has been take over by nature.
I have always worked with pencils but I have now started to use watercolour, which has been very interesting for me. This is largely due to joining a class run by Jayne Ashenbury in Plymouth.
